Credits
The Cario Bands web site has been and continues to be the product of hard work by many individuals. We would like to recognize the initial work of Nan Jenkins who was instrumental in the creation of our site in 2004. Tim Snoots has served as as our web developer since our site's redevelopment in 2004. Since that time, our Booster Presidents have been the primary content maintainers of the site. All content on this site is developed, or review by, the Booster Board President. The simple goal of our web site is to provide a convenient, up-to-date information resource about the Cario Bands program.
Coding, Standards, and Compatibility
Our web site is developed by Tim Snoots (Snoots Technology Services LLC). All HTML, CSS, and PHP template code on this site is hand coded by Tim Snoots, complies with the HTML 4.01 "Strict" DTD, and all formatting and layout are through CSS. The code of this site's pages can be W3C validated using the links at the bottom of each page. Using modern web standards and semantic, validated coding assures that our site loads fast, looks great, is accessible, and has a stable, consistent appearance in any modern, standards-compliant web browser on any computer platform. This site has been tested with current versions of the Safari, Firefox, Opera, Lynx, Internet Explorer 6, and Internet Explorer 7 web browsers, and on the Mac, Windows, and Linux platforms.
Accessibility
Efforts have been taken to make this web site accessible to all users including those with disabilities. We believe that our site conforms to the best practice guidelines of both the W3C-WAI's "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines" and also U.S. "Section 508" Guidelines for accessibility.

Band Email Distribution Problems
If you are not receiving our From the Band Room email distributions then spam filtering may be to blame. For most email services (e.g., Yahoo, Comcast, Gmail, AOL, etc.) simply adding our list's "From" email address (to be announced soon) to your online address book, and/or your email software's spam "whitelist", will prevent our emails from being blocked as spam. Lastly, please NEVER mark any email from cariobands.org as spam in your email. Doing so can cause an email provider such as Yahoo to actually block our emails from reaching all other Yahoo users. If you no longer wish to receive our emails at a particular address then please simply request for us to remove your address.
