Band Fee Payments

Band fees for all band students should now be paid in full, (as of 12/31/04). Because the payment deadline fell during the winter break, we have extended that deadline to Friday, January 14th. At that point, all fees, including percussion fees, must be paid in order to avoid the $25 late charge. Hope that helps.

All-County Band Students

Just to clear up some confusion, all-county clinic and medal fees are covered in the band fees. The all-county and all-region detail sheets that are posted on our website have been updated to reflect that policy change. All-county band students only need lunch money for Friday, about $5 to purchase food & beverage in the Wando food court.

6th Grade Carowinds Trip

Apparently, Mr. Scott and I have our wires crossed on the sign-ups for the 6th grade Carowinds trip in May. So that all 6th grade students will have an equal opportunity to sign up for the trip, here's the procedure:

On Tuesday, February 1st, as indicated on our website, trip sign-ups will begin. I will be at the band room that morning between 8 and 8:30 a.m. for students to sign up and make the initial deposit of $38. Total trip cost is $76.

The second and final payment of $38 is due no later than Friday, March 25th.

If your student's account has funds available, and you want to use the money in the account to pay for the trip, your student still must sign up on Tuesday, February 1st. Rather than actually making a payment, your student must provide a parent-signed authorization for us to apply student account funds to the cost of the trip. You may verify your student's account status with Becki Bowman at treasurer@cariobands.org.
