Region and All-State Results

Congratulations to all the students who auditioned this past Saturday in Lexington.  Nineteen Cario Bands students earned chair placements in the All-State Band. Searchable results for All-State and Region 4 Bands can be found at www.bandlink.org. Results will also be posted on the Cario Bands website in the next few days.

Specific information for Region Band and All-State clinics will be sent to students closer to the events. General information can be found on the Competitions and Events webpage and in the band handbook.

Spring Fundraisers

Spring fundraisers were launched last Friday and are your final opportunity to earn credits for Fair Share and trips. Your child should have brought an envelope home with product information and order forms.  We’ve created a flyer that students can use when talking with neighbors, family or friends about supporting Cario Bands.  The attached flyer can be personalized to include the student's name, instrument, band class, & contact information.  Thanks to the Sparrow Family and Janice Artidiello for putting this together.

Volunteers will be needed to sort and tally order forms and assist with distribution. Look for an email with event sign up information soon.

Florida Trip Update

• We still have 95 Harmony Cards for sale for $15. Profits from the sale of cards by Cario Bands benefit the Cario Bands Florida Trip.  Email vice-president@cariobands.org to request additional cards.
• 2nd Payment of $200 is due Friday, January 27th
• Harmony Card fundraiser will end on January 31st.  Please make sure that you send in your payment/cards with the tally form.
• Parents were sent an email on Tuesday, January 24th asking for volunteers to chaperone.  Responses are due by Tuesday, January 31st.

Carowinds

Don't miss out. Only 16 spots remaining for the Carowinds trip.  Please send in your registration form, payment & notarized CCSD medical form.  Once the trip is sold out, we will send a wait list email.
