To all the Cario Band families that also have Wando Band musicians - Congratulations on a tremendous season! As a band director, a band parent, and a band fan, I'm overwhelmed by the quality of the band program at Wando. Believe me, this is not normal! Having a Grand Nationals Finalist band right in our backyard is truly a treasure, and I'm exceedingly proud!
This week in the Cario Bands we have our first Jazz Band concert of the year, and another fundraiser comes in. Lots of great things going on this week! Thanks for encouraging your students at home; it makes all the difference in the world!
Cario Jazz Band Concert - November 15, 7:00 Pm!
Come out and support the first Jazz Band concert of the year! Tuesday night at 7:00 in the Cario Gym, sponsored in part by D.R. Horton homebuilders. Call time is 6:30 PM. You'll be treated to big band swing, some funk/fusion, and other classic jazz idioms!
Pie Pickup This Wednesday! Cario Cafeteria, 4:00 - 7:00 PM
Pie pick up is this Wednesday. Volunteers are needed to help sort and pass out orders. Please sign up with the following link. Pies MUST be picked up by 7pm or orders will be donated to ECCO. Please sign up to help!

Recital This Wednesday, Nov. 16, 6:30 PM
Attention all Band students! There is a recital on Wednesday, November 16th at 6:30 PM in the Cario Band room. Flute, clarinet, horn, and percussion will be represented. Students that play those instruments may use this as a concert critique!
7th and 8th-Grade Chair Tests, December 1st after school
Chair tests for all 7th and 8th-Grade Band members will be held after school on Thursday, December 1st. Your students have signed up for a time. Please communicate with them as to when they need to arrive. The chair test should only take about 15 minutes.
