Hope everyone had a great week! Here’s an update for you of upcoming items…
From the Directors
Halloween Concert on Monday October 30th—the show will be at 7pm in the gym with the call time at 6:30 (7th graders in gym at 6:30 and 8th graders in the band room at 6:30
6th Grade Smart Music due Sunday November 5th
7th and 8th Graders have a unit of Smartmusic scales and sight reading they need to be studying
Fundraising
Coupon books have been sent home—any questions can be directed to fundraising@cariobands.org
Also, a huge thanks to Liz Potter for working on these and also heading our Letter Writing Campaign this year
Pie Orders are due on Monday October 30th—please remember to send these in tomorrow!
Region/All State Auditions--7th and 8th grades
The Deadline for registrations for Region/All State auditions is due on Tuesday October 31st….an email was sent last Wednesday with details. As most of you know, we are well known for our performance in these auditions—and we want to continue the tradition. Forms are to be returned to the Band Room.
December Chair tests--7th and 8th grades
Information was sent last week also about the December chair tests, which is the big one for the year. It serves as a replacement for the All County auditions which was cancelled two years ago. Please see last week’s email for more information
