6th Grade Students
Our spring trip is designed to build a community spirit and to reward those students who have worked hard to make our program a success throughout the year. Since we will be participating in the Carowinds Music Festival, it is important that students bring their best effort and attitude to rehearsal each day. This annual music festival at Carowinds in Rock Hill, SC is a reward trip for eligible students and offers a great opportunity to "break in" the beginner band to competitive band events. The students will perform and be graded by a panel of judges. Please make careful note of the eligibility requirements and important dates for each group.
Registration Forms and Information will be sent home in early spring and acceptance is on a first come first served bases. If you are interested in chaperoning the Carowinds Trip you can sign-up on the Volunteer Sheet at Band Parent Night. We will be working on the Carowinds team in February after the trip closes. Mr. Scott selects chaperones based on the needs of the band.
