There will be a Jazz Band Concert on Thursday, November 7th in the Cario Gym. Call-time is 6:15 and the concert is at 7pm

Cario Bands Community Coat Drive
Cario Bands is coordinating a school wide Coat Drive! Lowcountry Orphan Relief needs new or gently used coats. Please make sure the the donations are clean. Collection boxes will be in the band room and front office. The donation period is from Tuesday, October 29th through Tuesday, November 19th. For every 3 coats donated you earn 1 volunteer hour ~ complete the Coat Drive Donation Form and turn the coats and form in the band room bin. We will have a collection bag in the Gym Foyer to collect coats at the Jazz Band concert. (Note: do not send in books at this time as we don't have a place to store the books.) Please contact Jill Lofstead communityservice@cariobands.org if you have questions or can help deliver donations. Thank you for your generosity!
Concert Opportunities
Concert Evaluations: If you have questions regarding the requirements for "Outside Concert Attendance" or completing the Concert Evaluation Form, please refer to the Band Handbook ~ "Outside Concert Attendance" (page 16). Please note the following:
- If a concert program is not available, the parent signature is confirmation that the student attended the concert.
- Do not turn in a Concert Evaluation Form until you have written 2 evaluations (3 if you are working towards 6th Grade Honor Medal or 7th & 8th Grade Honor Band Award).
- The completed form can be turned in at any time. The due date is Tuesday, January 14, 2014.

Saturday, November 9th ~ Studio Recital for Clarinet, Saxophone, Horn, Piano and Guitar at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church at 2 pm Free Admission
Thursday, November 14th ~ Flute Choir Concert: College of Charleston, Simmons Center for the Arts at 7 pm. C Flute, piccolo, alto flute and bass flute will be performing! Free Admission.
Thursday, November 21st ~ Wando Bands Winter Concert ~ Wando High School Performing Arts Center (PAC) at 7 pm
Thursday, December 12th ~ Wando Bands Holiday Concert at the PAC at 7 pm
