Requirements
- The Cario Band Program requires each student to attend 2 outside concerts each semester; 3 each semester if you are working towards the 6th grade Honor Medal or the 7th and 8th Grade Honor Band. The purpose of the attendance requirement is to allow students to gauge their level of play and appreciate the talents of others. It also serves to expose students to wind ensembles where professional musicians play the student's chosen instrument.
- To receive credit, students must complete the Concert Evaluation Form and attach a concert program.
- What counts: performances which include the student's chosen instrument; wind ensembles; one marching band performance.
- What doesn't count: concerts in which the student plays; choral and orchestra concerts.
