The Region 4 Band is selected by audition from band students throughout southern South Carolina. Cario 7th and 8th Grade students may audition (plus a few 6th grade selected by the directors).
The All-State Band is a group of students selected by audition from the top one-third of each of the five region bands. This band is the highest individual honor available to a band student in South Carolina. It is a musical All-Star Team.
