Important Dates

January 13, 2016 ~ Next Payment for Florida trip due

January 11, 2016 ~ Magazine Fundraiser begins

January 11-22 ~ Spirit Gear orders

January 19 - 29 ~ Coat Drive

February 1, 2016 ~ Final payment for Florida trip due

Florida Trip:

This is just a reminder that the next payment for the Florida trip is due January 13th ($200.00). As well as paying for the trip all other band fees must be paid in full in order to go on the trip. If there is any Fair Share left to be paid this must be taken care of first before you can be part of the Florida trip. The last payment is due by February 1, 2016 ($200.00).

Please make sure that Florida payment checks are placed in an envelope with "Florida Trip" on the outside. Also, make sure your child's name and "Florida Trip" are in the memo field on all Florida Trip payment checks.
Lastly, DO NOT leave any checks or payments with the Cario front office! All payments need to be placed in the lockbox in the band office.

Fundraising:

Happy New Year! We have one more exciting fundraiser-Monday we will kick off the magazine fundraiser that will run through January 22. Prizes will be given! More details will be given to the students on Monday about this and how the fundraiser works. This gives the students one more opportunity to raise money for the General Fund for band. Community Service:

Lowcountry Orphan Relief Coat Drive
Dates: Tuesday, January 19th to Friday, January 29th
What it's about: Lowcountry Orphan Relief, Inc. (LOR) is a non-profit organization that provides goods and services to children who have been abused or neglected. We will be collecting coats for the children to have during the winter season. (Although this year we may not even have a winter season :) ...but they can always use the coats in the future).
Participation Details: There will be two large bins for collecting coats in the band room. Please send in new or gently used coats of any size.
Donating coats will count toward your student's volunteer hours. A form will be sent home with the students with details or can be printed from the website.

Spirit Wear

If you would like to order a Hoodie, Sport Bag, or Cinch Sack please send in the Spirit Wear Order Form no later than Friday, January 22nd. The forms can be found in the classroom or on the website.
