From the President ~ Welcome to Cario Bands 2017-2018!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and made it thru the storm okay. We have a few updates this week (I just heard a huge cheer throughout the communities!). Also, I have received replies from parents whose kids are not attending Cario this year. Once I receive a reply to remove you from the emails, I try to get this addressed ASAP. I apologize in advance if I have missed any requests, -and will continue to get the system updated....

From the Directors

Mrs Mumford has asked again that all students set up their Smart Music program (the directions were sent a couple of weeks ago). This is probably a needless reminder because I'm sure everyone remembered because there wasn't anything major going on last week! ;)

Also, Chair Tests for 8th Grade begin tomorrow (Monday September 18th)….everyone needs to get a good night's rest and be prepared to do their best. And make sure to have a good breakfast (I'm sure your kids are like mine and are always super easy to get up on Mondays and never complain about what they want to eat!!).

New Family Welcome Breakfast

The New Family Welcome Breakfast had to be postponed due to the storm—we are currently working to set up an alternate date for the event at Burton's Grill. By the way, if you go to Burton's to eat or hang out, please mention that you are with the Cario Band…..we want them to know how much we appreciate their support!!

Annual Beach Sweep

The SCDNR made the decision to change the date for the Annual Beach Sweep, -the new date is Saturday October 21st from 9am-12pm….we will follow up with additional details as we approach the date.

Coupon Books

The coupon books were delivered to the school last week and students had the opportunity to either take them home or leave them at school. If anyone isn't interested in the fundraiser, they only need to return the book to school. If you are participating, follow the instructions on the envelope for orders.
