Practice Charts are due each Friday
Don't forget concert evaluations this semester—an email was sent last week regarding the details. Concert Evaluation forms are on the website
An email was sent last week about Region/All State Audition Registration---this is open to all 7th and 8th Grade Students. Please review the email for details about dates and music.
Fall Recitals
An email was sent by our Directors last week about fall recitals. The recitals will be on Wednesday November 14th in the Band Room. 7th and 8th Graders are eligible to perform and can perform with a piano accompaniment or an ensemble. Recital signups will be in the Band Room. If your student has questions, have them ask the Directors.
Box Tops
October is a Box Top Month which is an easy way to help the Band raise funds. We will be having a Contest this month with Box Top Collection. Here's what to do
1. Save as many Box Tops as possible
2. Place Box Tops in a Zip Lock Bag
3. Write Student's Name and Class on the Bag
4. Bring to the Band Room
The class that collects the most Box Tops will earn a Popsicle Party…..Box Tops must be turned in to the Band Room by October 25th!!
Community Service
The Beach Sweep is this Saturday October 20th from 9am-11am---please take some time on Saturday to be part of this event. Meet at the Fort Moultrie Visitor Center located at 1214 Middle Street on Sullivan's Island. Please direct any questions to communityservice@cariobands.org
