From the Directors
Halloween Concert Performance by the 7th and 8th Grade Students
Fall Recitals
An email was sent by our Directors last week about fall recitals. The recitals will be on Wednesday November 14th in the Band Room. 7th and 8th Graders are eligible to perform and can perform with a piano accompaniment or an ensemble. Recital signups will be in the Band Room. If your student has questions, have them ask the Directors.
Halloween Concert Performance
The 7th and 8th Grade Halloween Concert is the Monday October 29th at 7pm in the Cario Gym. Performances will be by the 7th Grade band, the 8th Grade band and the Jazz band. Students can wear Halloween Costumes and Audience members can come in costume as well
Call Time: Students should be ready to warm up by 6:30pm. 7th Grade will warm up in the Gym and 8th Grade in the Band Room.
This can count as a concert credit for 6th Graders who attend.
Fundraising
Coupon Books will be coming home beginning this week (10/29 thru 11/2)
Pie Sale Orders must be turned into the Band Room by this Monday October 29th with payment

Wando Band Community Performance
The Wando Band will be holding its Community Performance next Saturday November 3rd at the new District 2 Stadium on the Wando Campus prior to leaving next week for the Grand Nationals Competition in Indiana. The gates will open at 5:30pm and the show will begin at 7pm. Students are allowed to use only one (1) Marching Band Performance as a Concert Credit (football games, etc).
