Finance
An email was sent last week regarding the payment due for the Florida Trip---please make sure your Fair Share is paid as it is required for the trip. If you have questions, contact treasurer@cariobands.org
Community Service
We will be holding our coat drive this month for Lowcountry Orphan Relief—the planned dates for this event are Tuesday January 22nd thru Wednesday January 30th. This is the Last week to bring coats to the Band Room!!
Booster Meeting
We are having a full band booster meeting on Thursday January 31st at 7:30pm in the gym to discuss spring trips, grading, and end of year expectations for continuing in band for the following year.
There will be an 8TH Grade Families only meeting at 6:45 that evening—Bobby Lambert, the Wando Band Director, will be there to discuss High School options. Also, the Director of the Wando School of Advanced Studies will be there to explain what Wando offers, how it ranks academically, and how to make it work with band.
Lessons Academy
There are still a few spots remaining for 2nd semester Lessons Academy are due.
Corporate Sponsors
We are looking for a few people to be part of a committee to work on a Corporate Sponsorship Program. If you are interested, please come to the meeting on Thursday night.
