From the President
Anyone who is interested in getting involved with band is invited to attend our Band Booster Interest Meeting tomorrow night at 6:30 PM. These positions range in time commitments so there is something for everyone. Currently we are trying to fill our successor (aka shadow) positions which gives you this year to work alongside the current committee chair to learn about the position. The successor positions open are: Treasurer, Corporate Sponsorship, Fundraising, Events, Community Service, Uniforms, Trip Coordinator, PR, and Photography.

Fundraising
Our coupon book fundraiser is in progress. The fundraiser goes through 9/25. New this year from SaveAround (see forms page for information form and sales incentives flyer).
SaveAround now accepts credit cards
Set up an online account to sell directly to friends and family
The sample book must be paid for or returned by Sept 25th
All sales incentives (free books, t-shirts and hoodies) will be distributed in October with your order

Corporate Sponsorship

Important Dates
MONDAY 9/16:
6:30-7:00 PM - Booster Interest Meeting (New or existing parents who would like to be on the booster committee. You will then stay for our regular Booster meeting from 7:00-8:00).
7:00-8:00 PM - Booster Meeting (Booster Members Only).
TUESDAY 9/17 AND WEDNESDAY 9/18:
4:00-8:00 PM Lessons Academy Begins.
Tuesday 9/24 OR WEDNESDAY 9/25:
4:00-7:00 PM - Uniform Night for 7th and 8th graders outside Cario Band Room.
SATURDAY 9/21:
9:00AM-12:00 PM - Memorial Band Beach Sweep at Sullivan's Island.
WEDNESDAY 9/25:
All SaveAround Coupon Book orders, money, and unsold sample books are due during class.
SATURDAY 9/28:
8:00-10:00 AM - New Member Breakfast at Burtons.
