Wednesday, March 23rd - Concert Festival 6:30 am Call Time for 7th Grade. The 8th Grade will depart at 11:15 am and return at approximately 4:30 pm.
Wednesday, March 23rd - Concert Festival at School of the Arts (performance times) - 9:00 a.m. - 7th grade band
- 2:45 p.m. - Symphonic Band
Thursday, March 24th - Mandatory Florida Trip Chaperone Meeting at 5:30 pm in the Cario Media Center (Library)
Tuesday, March 24th - Mandatory Florida Trip Parent Meeting at 6 pm in the Cario Media Center (Library)
Concert Festival (7th & 8th Grade)
Concert Festival is scheduled for Wednesday, March 23rd. This is an adjudicated contest to evaluate our performance as a musical ensemble. The 7th Grade Concert Band will perform in the morning (9:00a.m.) and the Symphonic Band (Selected 6th 7th & 8th Grade) in the afternoon (2:45p.m.). We would love to have you come if you are able. We could still use some help on that day. We need 3 more parents for the Symphonic Band.
Florida trip:
There is a mandatory trip meeting on Thursday, March 24th for all chaperones (5:30) and Parents and Chaperones (6:00) in the media center. We also need to know if there are any band students who do not have a light blue Cario t-shirt (and Chaperones as well) because you will need to wear this shirt on one day of the trip.
No Lessons Academy this week
Box Tops:
Thanks to all who sent in Box Tops for this second collection. We will get a check for $506.70 simply for sending in those box tops. The winners in each class will recieve a small prize but thank you to all. And thank you to Kiki Thayer for counting them all and sending it in for us.
